Wedding bells will ring — eventually. Kirsten Dunst dished on upcoming wedding plans with her fiancé, Jesse Plemons, while appearing at the TCA Summer Press Tour for Showtime’s On Becoming A God In Central Florida.

“We’re definitely going to have a wedding eventually, but probably small at home or something like really intimate not a big wedding,” the 37-year-old revealed on the red carpet.

Though the couple is putting precedent on the nuptials, they also understand how difficult it can be to get the timing just right. “It’s a priority but you know how life is,” she continued. “You’ve got other little things so it has to be a good time when we can all have fun.”

She and her beau started dating in 2016 after meeting on the set of the show Fargo, and by January 2017, the couple was engaged. They welcomed their son, Ennis Howard, in May 2018 — a first child for both of them.

“God, you’re just tired all the time,” the actress revealed about being a mom. “Also, doing this show too, I was like, it’s so much easier to go back to work than it is to be a stay at home mom. 100%. I was like bye, to my mother-in-law. I was like, ‘Bye. Ahhh.’”

Plus, Kirsten and Jesse have a tight bond that keeps their relationship positive amid the struggles of raising their first child. “Oh, I think friendship,” she said about keeping the spark alive between you and your partner. “Yeah, I do. I think you have to be, yeah, have your best friend.”

Because the blonde beauty is so close with her little fam, she’s pretty picky about the roles she chooses. “I feel like I’ve been in this industry for so long now,” she revealed at the event. “So for me, I have to have something that really inspires me to be taken away from my family and things like that.”
