Kourtney Kardashian's 'KUWTK' Shooting Schedule Affects Her Love Life

Turns out, being on one of the most widely recognized reality TV shows in the world isn’t conducive to romance. At least, that’s the case for Kourtney Kardashian and Keeping Up With the Kardashians, anyway. “Dating can be tricky because of the busy shooting schedule,” a source tells Life & Style magazine, on newsstands now.

Unfortunately, that’s not the only reason her family’s biggest claim to fame is getting in the way of her love life. “Kourtney will often ask herself if a guy’s only with her in a bid to be on the show,” adds the insider. Considering Kourtney’s televised relationship with ex Scott Disick essentially catapulted his entire career, her concerns hardly seem baseless.

With that, the Poosh.com founder is taking a step back from KUWTK. Naturally, Kourtney’s decision has created some tension within the Kar-Jenner clan, especially her mom, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kim and Khloé. “Kourtney understands why they’re upset, but the truth is, she isn’t getting any younger,” says the insider. “It’s one of those now-or-never situations.”

In addition to making meeting someone special a priority, Kourtney also plans on focusing more on her three children — Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4. “I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there, but I am not saying goodbye,” Kourtney told Entertainment Tonight in a November 7 segment. “But I think you will have to see more of it on the new season — season 18. It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.”

Of course, KoKo, 36, and Kim, 39, weighed in. “Yeah, I mean, we definitely love Kourtney and will miss Kourtney and whatever she decides to do,” the Good American mogul said. “But people come, people go all the time in this family. We feel like it’s a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week, she’ll be back. They all come back.”
