Love Is Blind’s Nick Dorka Admits He Was ‘Underwhelmed’ by Hannah Jiles’ Looks
Love Is Blind star Nick Dorka was feeling the heat at the season 7 reunion after he was accused of telling some of his costars that he wasn’t attracted to ex-fiancée Hannah Jiles. She accused him of making comments and asking his male costars to “rate” her looks after they met, along with calling her names like “a grenade.”
Nick, 29, initially denied making the comments about Hannah, 27, but Monica Davis and Marissa George claimed that their ex-fiancés, Stephen Richardson and Ramses Prashad, heard what he said. Stephen, 34, and Ramses, 35, eventually caved to the pressure and revealed what the Virginia-based realtor said.
“If there’s any moment to take accountability for anything, it’s right now,” Ramses said. “Everybody messes up. Everybody says things that maybe you regret, but like, let’s keep it 100, man. This is not a dig against you, this is the moment to take accountability.”
Nick finally ‘fessed up and admitted, “Yeah, I said I was underwhelmed when I saw Hannah at the reveal. I never said she was a grenade.”
Nick has escaped much of the wrath from fans throughout his time on Love Is Blind season 7 with most of the backlash aimed at Hannah. Viewers slammed Hannah’s treatment of Nick and accused her of continually belittling him during their time in front of the cameras. In one particularly tense scene in episode 11, Hannah didn’t hold back with her anger at Nick for talking to their fellow costar Katie Bollinger at a party.
“Were you guys talking about how f–king fabulous I am or were you f–king talking about your past relationships?” Hannah ranted. “Are you mature enough Nick? I’ve taught you f–king everything you know. I turned you [from] a boy into a f–king man. I’ve done everything for you.”
The West Virginia native has since admitted that she wasn’t necessarily proud of how she treated Nick when they were together. During an appearance on Nick Viall’s podcast, “The Viall Files,” on October 15, Hannah confessed that after seeing some of the viewers’ feelings about her, she had “learned there’s things [she] need[s] to work on.”
She continued, “For example, I am a very direct person. I know that but I think my delivery is rough — and delivery is everything. When you can see it you’re like, ‘Gosh that was really harsh.’ So I’ve learned to be kinder [and] work on my delivery.”

However, Hannah later failed to take accountability for her actions and blamed Nick for allowing her to treat him that way.
“It’s really hard for me to understand [how Nick was confused about why I broke off our engagement] and I still have trouble understanding him to this day. But I think he was surprised because he wanted to go all the way,” Hannah told Us Weekly in an article published on October 23. “I don’t think it should have been a shock because it was pretty obvious that we weren’t gonna make it. I was talking to him horribly and I apologize for that, but I just can’t believe he let me. I should not have done that, but he’d let me do it.”
She added, “We just didn’t like each other toward the end. I was not being nice and I don’t know why he would wanna continue that. It was just like, ‘We need to break this off before it gets nastier ’cause it’s already getting nasty.’”
Several fans were appalled at Hannah placing the blame on Nick and a few even accused her of being abusive toward the former CFL player.
“Hannah is a mean girl. What she said just shows an abusive pattern. Hope she’s okay with a girl treating her son one day exactly like that,” wrote one person on Instagram.
