Love Is Blind’s Raven Ross and SK Alagbada Relationship Drama: What Happened, Cheating Claims
Tumultuous romance. Former Love Is Blind couple Raven Ross and SK Alagbada seemed meant to be after she broke things off with fellow contestant Bartise Bowden and accepted SK’s proposal. However, their personal lives got in the way of exploring their love further, and cheating allegations soon disrupted their romance.

Do Love Is Blind’s Raven Ross and SK Alagbada Get Married?
During the first few episodes of season 3, Raven took an interest in both SK and Bartise. After Bartise ended his relationship with Raven to pursue Nancy Rodriguez, Raven spent more time with SK. By the time the former data engineer proposed to the pilates instructor, she enthusiastically accepted, saying, “Yes sir!” However, their relationship didn’t blossom effortlessly.
As Raven and SK met at the altar to exchange vows, fans were shocked to the core when he turned her down.
“I do not,” he said to Raven, as tears ran down her face. “Today, Raven, we both know how we feel about each other. I love you. However, we have a very unique and complex set of circumstances. I feel like today is not the best time for us to do this.”
After Raven hugged him and walked off the altar, SK explained his decision to the cameras during a confessional.
“It is no question in my mind. I love Raven,” he insisted. “I know she’s probably mad and angry, but I just would feel really bad and really guilty to continue on, you know, in a marriage with her when I know that there are so many other unanswered questions.”
SK then cited the distance from each other as one of the main reasons behind his choice not to move forward with a marriage.
“You know it’s not just about me having to leave after our marriage,” he continued. “It’s also about, like, her not being flexible to, for example, maybe move to California with me. It’s also about certain things that I know for a fact that she’s very strong about. I still have a little bit of issues with the family situation. … I have thought about the risk of losing her forever because of my decision today. As sad as it sounds, I think I would rather lose her than be in a marriage with her where I will feel like lots of shortcomings every day.”
After the altar episode aired, Raven described to People how “clearly really shocked” she felt with SK’s decision.
“I feel like the whole time, I was definitely not portrayed as an emotional person,” the Texas resident explained in November 2022. “So, it was probably shocking for everyone to see me be such a crybaby. But it was a really emotional day. I definitely was unprepared. We had gone through this whole experience. I was definitely on cloud nine after our build-up of having a great relationship. So, I was a little shocked.”
SK later opened up to People on November 2, 2022, about their issues and how their relationship was presented on camera.
“I think Raven and I’s story, the way it was portrayed on the show, I kind of feel bad watching it, especially from the perspective of the audience, because a lot of our love story wasn’t completely told in the way it was portrayed [sic],” he said. “The narrative focused a lot more on some other subjects and some other incidents in the show.”
The University of California, Berkeley, MBA student also noted he felt “like the audience missed out on that love story, on how it even came to be.”
“If I were watching it myself, not being in the experience, I would have a lot of blanks,” he concluded.
One of the most blaring issues fans caught in their relationship was that Raven is located in Dallas, where her career is, but SK is moving to California to attend U.C. Berkeley.
“In our very first conversation, I brought it up,” SK recalled. “I was like, ‘I’m actually getting ready to go to grad school in the fall.’ And she didn’t really have a problem with that. We said we’re going to do things long distance and we’re going to try it out.”
Nevertheless, the Netflix personality added that dating from different locations is “easier said than done.”
“Besides that, I’ve also had a very, very international life,” SK continued, before referring to his and Raven’s potential to continue their love. “I’ve lived in five countries to date, and I knew that sometime in the future, we could have a possibility of having to move somewhere else, maybe with kids even.”
While they eventually split on their wedding day, the pair found their way back to each other post-filming and started dating.
Are Love Is Blind’s Raven Ross and SK Alagbada Still Together?
SK shocked fans when he said “no” to Raven at the altar. Although they broke up in the moment, they rekindled their relationship post-filming and announced that they were back together during the season 3 reunion.
“We’ve grown so much from this experiment, from what we’ve went through,” Raven gushed about their relationship at the time. “From being apart, it makes it so much better when we’re together … it’s really beautiful to be able to do that.”
However, Raven revealed that they split via her Instagram Stories on November 20, 2022. “We are saddened to announce that we have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote, referencing TikTok user @HannahBethStyle’s claims that SK cheated on Raven with her. SK has denied the allegations.
“Due to on-going legal proceedings surrounding these allegations, we can not provide additional details and ask that you please respect our privacy during this hard time,” Raven’s statement continued.
“Thank you for following our love story and believing in us. This journey has forever shaped our lives and we are so grateful for everyone who has been a part of it,” Raven concluded. “Your love and support means everything.”
Days later, SK took to his own social media to address the situation.
“Raven and I left the Love Is Blind altar as single individuals who went back to dating other people,” he wrote in November 2022. “While our journey back together hasn’t been straightforward, the unique emotional connection we developed from this experiment kept us together as friends and helped rekindle our relationship after the fact.”
“[The cheating] allegations have been falsely misrepresented with malicious intent to extort, and we are actively pursuing legal actions against the accuser,” he added. “I am deeply sorry for the pain this has caused Raven, my family and everyone involved. Raven and I will continue to support each other and wish nothing but love.”
Hopping on the “dating wrapped” social media trend, Raven subtly threw shade at her ex.
“As you guys know, I was in a relationship for most of 2022,” she said in a video shared via Instagram on December 23, 2022. “But, since then, I have gone on a total of three first dates.” She continued, “I met one of them on Instagram, two in person and zero in a pod.”
After revealing during the After the Altar February 2023 special that they got re-engaged then ultimately split, Raven later opened up to Nick Viall on his “Viall Files” podcast, noting that there were several “red flags” she tried to overlook.
“While we’re going through this, there was so much manipulation and gaslighting,” she explained. “He really was just worried about saving his career and his face. And he wanted to get lawyers involved to, like, make these claims go away so it wouldn’t look bad for him. I was there at home listening to him on the phone with lawyers all day every day. He was like, ‘This is for my career.’ That’s literally what he said all the time.”
During this point in their on-off relationship, SK denied cheating on Raven and claimed he had hired a lawyer to contest the allegations.
“The hardest part of this was how he responded to all of it,” Raven continued, “Basically, by the end of it, I kept saying, ‘What do you want me to do? I want to help you, I love you, but what do you want me to do?’ And basically, his answer was for me to say that we weren’t dating the whole time. And that was just the most horrible thing.”
Apart from his alleged cheating, Raven then revealed that SK eventually told her he wasn’t “attracted” to her.
“There was always this trend — and it’s hard because this is a part that I’m still processing, it’s probably the ego inside of me — of him being really hard on the way that I looked,” Raven added. “It got to the point, in August actually, that I was so upset. We had basically lived together the entire summer, we had our apartment and anything I would wear, it was just always something.”
Perhaps the biggest bombshell she revealed, however, was that SK had contacted her in a possible attempt to reconcile.
“He reached out to me,” she told Nick. “He did say, ‘I was so worried about myself and protecting myself that I didn’t really care about how you were feeling.’ He acknowledged that for the first time, which was nice to hear but doesn’t really change anything. He apologized, and of course, he was like, ‘I’d love to work on things.’”
What Did SK Say About the Cheating Allegations?
In the aftermath of their split, SK exclusively told Life & Style that he did not cheat on Raven with Hannah Beth Style, noting that the nature of their relationship was not serious.
“All the allegations about me cheating are false,” SK admitted in November 2022. “At no point did we consider each other boyfriend and girlfriend. She is not my ex … The situation between Hannah and I was never formal.”
He spoke out again in February 2023, admitting he was “not proud of how I conducted myself.”
“I’m finally ready to speak out because I feel like I owe it to Raven and to the whole world watching, and also to myself, to take full accountability for my actions,” he told People. “This is not an apology tour. It’s really about me owning my actions and taking responsibilities and also just taking the things I’ve learned from this experience, and I’ll continue to learn and grow as a person.”
Did SK Alagbada Cheat on Raven Ross?
During the February 2023 Love Is Blind: After the Altar three-episode special, Raven claimed that SK had been unfaithful.
“Since then, a lot has changed,” she began, referring to what happened SK proposed to her. “My world is completely different because, you know, SK cheated on me and now our relationship is over. It’s so crazy to watch it back and, like, remember my feelings then. … I was so happy. I really was so invested in the person that everyone saw and everyone loved, like, that’s the person that I saw and I loved every day too. So, to see everything that has happened since then is so hard because that was not the person that I thought that I was with.”
