Love Is Blind’s Madison Slams Both Mason and Alex After Meeting in Person: ‘An Ick to Me’
Love Is Blind star Madison Errichiello did not have anything nice to say about Mason Horacek and Alex Brown, her former connections in the pods, when she met up with some of the other cast members from season 8.
“I’m really glad that Mason and I didn’t end up together. I just think the way that he acted in this situation is an ick to me,” Madison, 28, told producers in episode 11, which aired on Friday, February 28, after she saw that Mason, 33, and fellow costar Meg Fink had begun dating after leaving the pods.
The artist was also seemingly glad that she and Alex, 29, had broken up during their time in the pods, as well. After Alex showed up at the bar, Lauren O’Brien commented that she hadn’t met him in person yet.
“Well, he’s not much,” Madison snarked
However, she admitted that Alex contacted her soon after they left the show.
“I was like, ‘I can’t promise that I won’t have a bad day or that I won’t be able to communicate all the time,’ and he was like, ‘Yeah, that’s just not good enough for me.’ I get my phone back and the first message I get is from Alex. He’s like, ‘Oh my f–king God.’ I think he basically just saw me and was like, ‘S–t,’” Madison told Lauren, 31. “He was like, ‘Meet me at the airport, meet me at the airport,’ and I kept being like, ‘Did we not just break up?’ He’s like, ‘At least just give me a hug,’ and I was like, ‘Fine.’ We meet at the airport and the whole time he’s just like, ‘Wow, you are so beautiful. Stay here with me in L.A.’ and I’m like, ‘We just broke up.’”
She explained that she put her “all” into her time in the pods and felt like if her and Alex’s relationship didn’t work then, there was nothing to say it would work now. But Madison added that she “could tell that he was very much like, ‘Let’s make this work.’”

“So, we’d talk on the phone all the time and then he goes, ‘You’ll never guess who messaged me. Meg.’ Before she even knew if we were engaged or not, she was in his likes and in his DMs,” Madison said. “He said something about her saying, like, ‘He was her No. 1,’ or something. And he … I swear was, like, pitting me and Meg against each other.”
One of the reasons Madison was put off by Alex after she split from Mason was because he defended the cinematographer, and she felt like Alex should only be defending her. However, she said that Alex’s tune about Mason had changed once they were no longer filming.
She concluded, “I don’t know what the truth is because he is a massive liar. He’s a huge liar. When I saw him at the airport, I was like, ‘What’s your real take on Mason?’ and he goes, ‘F–k Mason. F–k Mason.’ And I was like, ‘But you didn’t say that in the pods while the cameras were rolling and that makes me lose respect for you.’ I just keep hearing all these things Alex has been saying about me and I am so disgusted by it. Literally, if he tries to come talk to me I will be like, ‘You are a waste of time.’”
