Love Is Blind’s Nick DMs Show Alum Micah Lussier After Hannah Split: ‘Biggest Crush on You’
Love Is Blind star Nick Dorka might have a type! The season 7 star slid into Love Is Blind alum Micah Lussier’s DMs on Instagram and he seemingly sent the message before his breakup with Hannah Jiles aired on Netflix.
“Yesterday, I was, like, scrolling through [my social media]. I don’t know if you guys do this, but I don’t read through any of my DMs aside from ones in my primary, and my social media assistant and my assistant, like, they put stuff in front of me in my primary that’s important,” Micah, 28, said during the Thursday, October 25, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “So, I’m, like, looking through for some reason and I see a blue check and I’m like, ‘Oh, I wonder why this wasn’t moved.’ And it was Nick.”
She continued, “He slid in my DMs and was like, ‘I’ve had the biggest crush on you for so long.’ And it was, like, a month ago. I was like, ‘I could have aired this man out.’”
While the former Perfect Match star confessed she hadn’t replied “yet,” she did say that Nick, 29, “seemed like a great guy.”
When Micah was asked if she had a crush on Nick, she paused before saying she would probably reply to be nice.
“I don’t know [how I’d respond to him]. I think I’ll just reply, like, ‘You shot your shot, good for you. Hope I’ll see you sometime,’” Micah explained.
Micah also touched on some of the comparisons she’s seen viewers make between her and Hannah, 27.
“I actually got sent a few TikToks that were people talking about the comparisons between [Hannah] and me, and I saw a lot of stuff that was like, ‘Oh, Hannah was hoping to get the Micah edit,’” the marketing professional said. “I was like, ‘I don’t think anyone was hoping to get that edit.’”
She added that she’s seen a “little bit” of the comparisons, but said, “I think her story was just, like, different than mine. I think the mean girl stuff maybe she’s getting as well.”
During Micah’s season of Love Is Blind, she quickly got labeled the mean girl after cameras caught her and her costar Irina Solomonova making snarky remarks about their fellow contestants. When fans first started calling Micah out for her behavior, she doubled down.
“I mean, you know what? So be it,” Micah told Us Weekly shortly before her season of Love Is Blind premiered in March 2023. What [Irina] did for me was make me laugh and reminded me who I am [and] that I like to laugh. I like to joke. Like, this is a really serious situation, but I don’t have to be miserable. Like, I can enjoy myself a little bit and she gave me that, and for that, I don’t regret it.”
However, since then, both she and Irina, 27, have apologized for the way they acted.
Hannah has been getting slammed for her treatment of Nick throughout Love Is Blind season 7, but she claimed that Nick “let” her talk to him “horribly.”
Fans will get to see where Nick and Hannah stand post-breakup when the season 7 reunion hits Netflix on October 30.
