It’s a baby girl for Ludacris and his wife of five months, Eudoxie!
The first-time mom confirmed the news on her Instagram account with a picture of a pink balloon. “She is here??? ??? #blessed #grateful,” Eudoxie captioned the shot.
According to a source, the newborn’s name is Cadence Gaëlle Bridges (Ludacris’ real name is Christopher Bridges) and she weighed in at 7 lbs., 4 oz. “Her middle name means ‘a father’s joy,'” the source tells E! News.
The 37-year-old rapper also posted a sweet note on social media, sharing a Throwback Thursday image of his bride and her mother. “#tbt now @eudoxiee will be switching places. #blessings #love #life,” he wrote.
Although the couple dated on-and-off for five years, their recent engagement was anything but drawn out! The duo shared news of their engagement on Dec. 26 and revealed just a few weeks later that they’d already tied the knot. Reports say the proposal and wedding took place on the same day.
This is the third child for Ludacris, who has a 13-year-old daughter and one-and-a-half-year-old daughter from previous relationships.
