Everyone’s excited for KoKo’s kid! Khloé Kardashian’s BFF Malika Haqq opened up in a new interview about the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, and seemingly confirmed reports that she is indeed pregnant with boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Chatting with the Daily Mail for a profile published on Wednesday, Sept. 27, Malika, 34, was asked for her opinion about the Kardashians expanding their dynasty amid news that Khloé, 33, the youngest of the KUWTK clan, Kylie Jenner, and Kim Kardashian are all expecting. “Yes, it is [nice],” the Dash Dolls alum told the outlet. “They are very family-orientated.”
Without giving too much away, Malika also suggested that fans will most definitely see Khloé’s journey to motherhood play out on TV. “Being close, I can say it, and it is a part of their life that they have allowed people into, you will continue to see the family dynamic grow,” she added.
Hours after Khloé’s baby news broke, KUWTK producer Jeff Jenkins — who has been working on the hit reality series since it premiered in 2007 — took to Instagram to congratulate the Strong Looks Better Naked author and her 26-year-old basketball player beau. “Congrats my beautiful Khloe!” he wrote. “You will be a great mom! God bless you all three! Mwah!!!”
According to TMZ, Khloé will welcome her baby around the same time as sister Kim’s surrogate, who is due in January. Kylie, 20, who is reportedly expecting her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott, is also expected to give birth in early 2018. As fans are well aware, it’s been a longtime dream of Khloé’s to become a mom. On the last season of KUWTK, the Revenge Body host said that she and Tristan — who is already the dad of son Prince, 9 months, with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig — wanted to have a child together.
"I would love to have a family," she said at the time. "We’ve talked about it. He is a father, and I know for a fact that he would be an impeccable father. I definitely want to be a mom. But I don’t put the pressure on it. It’s not like, the clock is ticking. I feel in my soul it will happen."
