There's a few natural reactions whenever Kardashian quotes land into your feed: laughter, disgust, overwhelming ennui over the fact that this family owns toilet seats that cost more than your yearly income. There's a lot of emotions at work, but "inspired" isn't the first that would hit you. But maybe you're not looking hard enough: after a decade of Keeping Up With The Kardashians we've found that Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, and their kin* can occasionally use their words to kick us into action. So for your consideration, we collected some classic Kardashian lines and made them into motivational posters!
*Not Kendall, zero gems there.
"Kim, you're doing amazing, sweetie."
She's not like a regular mom, Kris Jenner is a cool mom. The perfect poster for when you're nervous about your big presentation at today's staff meeting or feel insecure about your upcoming Playboy photoshoot (we've all been there).
"I feel like this year is really about, like, the year of just realizing stuff. And everyone around me, we’re all just, like, realizing things."
It's legit incredible how zen Kylie was during her Vogue video interview, sounding off words of wisdom like weave-wearing, plump-lipped Buddha. Hang this up for year-round enlightenment.
"Well, a bear can juggle and stand on a ball and he’s talented, but he’s not famous. You know what I mean?"
This is basically the, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound" of our time. An excellent reminder that you can be a rare, special, hard-working and genuinely gifted individual —but it will still not guarantee you status as a social media influencer.
"I am the view."
So existential. But also a good way to shut Scott Disick up when he snapped at Kourtney for being in the way. Don't settle for anything, ladies. You are the view.
"You were in jail for 45 minutes so seriously get over yourself."
Incidentally, it doesn't matter if you were in jail for any amount of minutes (we don't judge). There is no question that you'll need an ounce of Khloé to kick your a– into high gear when you're mired in self-pity.
"I'll cry at the end of the day, not with fresh makeup."
The most essential thing for a woman to remember: even if your cry-face is inherently horrid it will only make matters worse if you add bleeding mascara into the mix. Wait until you're safe at home…with Keeping Up With the Kardashians to komfort you.
