Mama June Gushes Over Boyfriend Geno Doak While Celebrating His Birthday: ‘We Love You’
She’s still head-over-heels! June Shannon, aka Mama June, posted a sweet message dedicated to her boyfriend, Geno Doak, while celebrating his 43rd birthday. The reality star gushed over his incredible heart and ability to make her feel so adored.
“We want to wish special person a very happy birthday @doakgeno baby we love you and hope that you have a very special birthday,” the Mama June: From Not to Hot star, 39, captioned her heartwarming tribute post. She also playfully trolled Geno by joking about him getting over the hill. “You are just a few years away from getting the senior citizen discount lol,” June wrote. “And a side note, thanks for loving me and the kids, and always being there for us, and all the little things you do each other. Cant wait to share and spend more birthdays with you and I know this a old pic of us, but still one of my favorites.”
Fans were living for the throwback photo she posted alongside her message, showing the lovebirds enjoying a date night in a limo. Mama June and her beau started dating before her major weight loss and after her split with Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson. The pair proved they were all in when they made their debut as a couple on the TLC series in January. And they took their relationship to the next level by moving in together this year. She did give him an ultimatum about popping the question at the end of last season, however it looks like they’re still going strong!
Mama June previously admitted that her new flame changed her mind about marriage. “I’m really glad I didn’t marry Sugar Bear because that would have been a horrible mistake,” June told Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon. “Sometimes, some people come into your life and change your opinions about things that you wouldn’t do. You know I told you I would never want to get married, and since Geno’s came into our life and been here for y’all, and been here for me, it’s made me realize that he’s probably the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
