Mathew Knowles' Instagram Fail: Announces Twins' Birth Before Beyonce

Ring the alarm. The Beyhive is not too happy with Beyoncé's dad Mathew Knowles after he announced the birth of the Carter twins — before Queen Bey.

The "Lemonade" singer and her husband Jay Z have yet to publicly confirm the arrival of their twins but that did not stop their over-excited grandfather from sharing the news on social media.

"They're here," Mathew captioned an e-card decorated with balloons that read, "Happy birthday to the twins! Love, Grandad." He also made sure to include his Instagram handle at the bottom of the photo.

As expected, Beyoncé's most loyal fans called out the 65-year-old, who does not have the best relationship with the former Destiny's Child star, for stealing the couple's moment.

British politician Mohamed Salih even got in on the Twitter-shaming, writing, "Beyoncé: Dad don't tell anyone until we're ready. Beyoncé Dad: I'm going viral for this tweet…hashtag, hashtag…"

However, some fans defended Mathew and his right to share the exciting news. "It is fathers day so I think Beyoncé gave him permission. Stop making a drama out of everything," one follower tweeted.

As of now, it is being reported that Beyoncé, 35, and Jay Z, 47, welcomed their twins — a boy and a girl — last week, but the newborns remain in the hospital for a "minor issue."

According to TMZ, the twins arrived on Monday, June 12, and sources revealed that Beyoncé is doing well but remains in the hospital.

Meanwhile, her mom Tina Knowles sent a cryptic message of her own on social media following the birth of the twins, writing, "God lets things happen in his time not ours! Dont try to rush him!"
