Megan Fox Proudly Reveals Her Son ‘Likes to Wear Dresses’: ‘I’m Trying to Teach Him to Be Confident’
You go, mama! Megan Fox isn’t afraid to let her children be who they are. During a Thursday, September 19 interview on The Talk, the longtime actress, 33, revealed that her 6-year-old son, Noah, is “really into fashion.”
“He’s the one, like sometimes, he’ll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses, sometimes,” Megan told the hosts of the popular series. “And I send him to a really liberal, like hippy school. But even there, here in California, he still has little boys going like, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses,’ or ‘Boys don’t wear pink.’”
Thankfully, Megan doesn’t let Noah get discouraged by his peers. “We’re going through that now, where I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says. He had stopped wearing dresses for a while,” she explained.
“He just wore one two days ago to school, and he came home and I was like, ‘How was it? Did any of the friends at school have anything to say?’ And he was like, ‘Well, all the boys laughed when I came in,’ but he’s like, ‘I don’t care, I love dresses too much.'”
You tell ‘em, Noah! What an inspiring kid. We bet his siblings, Bodhi, 5, and Journey, 3, as well as his dad, Brian Austin Green, are proud of him, too.
Of course, having a mother in the public eye has also allowed Noah to be exposed to fashion — i.e. fittings and red carpets. The best part? Megan tries to bring him along as often as she can — even if Noah’s ideas aren’t, er, perfectly refined just yet.
“When I do fittings, like, I did one recently and I had this really beautiful yellow dress on, and he kept draping it in a way where he’s like, ‘If we do it like this, it looks like a diaper!’” she laughed. “I was like, ‘That’s not what we’re going for this time, but maybe next time!’”
Despite the whole diaper hiccup, Megan gushed that Noah designs, draws outfits and is very talented. Needless to say, we have no doubt his designs will be gracing the runways one day. Keep thriving, Noah!
