Melania Trump Resurfaces in Brussels — but People Are Convinced It’s Her Body Double Back in Action!
Is that Melania Trump? Rumors are swirling yet again that the First Lady has a body double, shortly after she resurfaced in Brussels earlier this week. Melania was seen stepping off the Air Force One with President Trump, however fans aren't convinced she's the real McCoy.
"This new Melania double is weak sauce," one person wrote on July 10 via Twitter. "Watching the interview with Trump as he left the US, Melania looks like a body double. It is not her," another chimed in. Fans have been concerned about Melania's whereabouts after she disappeared from public view following an announcement made by her staff on May 14, explaining that she had an embolisation procedure to treat a kidney condition.

Prior to that, Melania hadn't been seen in public for 24 days after her kidney surgery — until she made an appearance at an event for military Gold Star families on June 4. However, Twitter is not convinced Melania is back in action and has some crazy conspiracy theories.
Melania shared photos from the private appearance, but instead of posing alongside her husband Donald, she used photos that were taken from a distance and the Slovenian beauty was barely visible in the audience. "Tonight @POTUS & I were honored to pay tribute to our fallen heroes," she tweeted. "Thank you to the Gold Star families that joined us in celebration and remembrance."

Before that, she blamed the speculation surrounding her health on the media, writing, "Rest assured, I'm here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children and the American people!" Well, it didn't take long for skeptical social media pundits to accuse Melania of everything from using a body double to being the real-life Carmen San Diego. Even Bette Midler had a theory on her disappearance, adding, "Maybe she just drunk-cut her own bangs and doesn’t want to upset her fans. I’ve done that plenty of times!!!"

To add fuel to the fire, Melania is skipping the "celebration" Trump is hosting today in lieu of meeting with the Super Bowl winners, the Philadelphia Eagles — where media will be in attendance. In the FLOTUS' defense, she did undergo a major procedure and was hospitalized for five days. It also doesn't help that her husband is in the midst of a cheating scandal with porn star Stormy Daniels. So, can you really blame Melania for laying low?
