Nick Jonas Admits He and Priyanka Chopra Think About How Their Careers Will Affect Their Future Kids
Planning ahead! Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra may have only gotten married four months ago, but they’re already thinking about expanding their family. While promoting his new animated film, UglyDolls, the 26-year-old got candid about his future plans and how having kids and balancing a career in the entertainment industry fits into all of it.
“I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do, we think about the future,” Nick told E! News on Sunday, April 14. “And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future.”
“That’s everything from the music to projects that we align ourselves with and, maybe some of the projects that are more adult-themed we’ll hold those back ’til they get older obviously,” The “Chains” singer continued. “But with something like [UglyDolls], it’s just a joy to be able to do this for the kids in general.”
He’s making the right moves. In February, Nick and his two siblings reunited to release music again as the Jonas Brothers. Since then, they’ve regained success, especially after getting their first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for their catchy bop “Sucker.”
Similarly, his relationship with his wife couldn’t be better. The two will not only be attending the Met Gala for the first time as a married couple, but will also be serving on this year’s committee. This appearance will be extra special for them, considering they met at the extravagant event two years ago.
“That was one of our first dates … but it wasn’t even really a date, I don’t know how to describe it,” Nick told the outlet. “That’s kind of an important thing for us, the Met Gala, historically speaking, so to be on the committee this year is great.” That being said, we can’t wait to see what they wear!
