Nick Jonas Reveals a ‘Big Issue’ From His Wedding to Priyanka Chopra But It’s Not What You Think
No one’s wedding day goes off without a hitch — including Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra‘s lavish affair in India. The pop star revealed that the couple had one major snafu during their three-day nuptials and it had to do with refreshments. They completely ran out of one adult beverage that is extremely important to their friends. Luckily, Joe Jonas learned from his younger brother’s mistake and won’t be doing the same when he ties the knot with Sophie Turner.
“We learned a lesson from my wedding,” Nick, 26, dished during a recent interview on the Zach Sang Show with the other JoBros. “Our friends drink a lot of beer, specifically, and we ran out of beer at the wedding, at my wedding, which was a big issue.” Whoops!
Kevin chimed in and joked that after the beer ran out, guests turned to hard liquor and it took the party to another level. “It starts to get very dark very fast with hard alcohol instead … It’s just, like, ‘Oh, we’re doing this now? OK.'” the oldest brother, 31, quipped.
The former DNCE frontman, 29, and the Game of Thrones actress, 23, are set to walk down the aisle overseas this year and you can count on him having enough beverages to go around. Surprisingly, the former Disney family has one specific request when it comes to what kind of beer they like to drink. “I mean, we are getting married in France, so a lot of Coors Light is necessary,” Joe said. “Not hard, really, to get that, but we needed to make sure that was going to happen.”
The duo has been together for over two years and the young HBO star has no doubt she’s ready for the next step. “I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know. I feel like I’m much older a soul than I am in age,” Sophie told Rolling Stone in an article published on March 26. “I feel like I’ve lived enough life to know. I’ve met enough guys to know — I’ve met enough girls to know. I don’t feel 22. I feel like 27, 28.”
