No, enjoyable exercise is not an oxymoron. “Find ways to make working out fun so that it doesn’t become a chore! Trying new fitness classes is a great way to do this,” Nikki advised. The E! starlet has previously noted that she’s a huge fan of Pure Barre classes. “My sister, Brie, was the one who got me into it. 2. Stay Hydrated, Friends
Say it louder for the people in the back: Hydration is so important. “A great way to trick yourself into drinking more water is to add fruit to it!” Nikki suggested. Try combining sweet fruit with fresh herbs — like strawberry and mint — for a refreshing beverage. The reality beauty also warned, “Be careful, fruit acids may have a harmful effect on your tooth enamel so I like to use a product like [Colgate’s New Colgate Total SF Formula] to help strengthen your tooth enamel.”

3. Balance Is a Real Thing
A balanced life is important for everyone — even athletes like Nikki. The WWE babe has a clever way to enjoy indulgent foods. “Incorporate more veggies into your favorite dishes. I love pasta, but the carbs don’t love me,” she explained. “Instead of having a full serving of pasta, I will cook half a serving of whole wheat pasta and add a ton of veggies so that the meal becomes more balanced and filling while still giving me my carb fix.” You don’t need to categorize pasta as “bad” and flee from the dinner table every time you see it — just learn to eat it in moderation.

4. It’s About YOUR Health and Happiness
Most importantly, positive life changes are for you and only you. “Don’t be too hard on yourself or compare yourself to others,” Nikki said. “All that matters is that you show up for yourself and make an effort every day.”
