They were all glammed up for an appearance on Good Morning America’s Strahan and Sara. During a previous interview on the morning show, the hosts asked Nikki what dating on camera is like. “I mean, it’s not the worst but kind of,” the brunette beauty admitted.

“Imagine having a first date after so many years [and] you’re already nervous being on this date. What do I do? What are the rules?” she explained about her unusual situation. “And then, all of a sudden, I look and I have all these crew people staring at me and cameras in my face.”

Nikki confirmed that she was romantically involved with her former Dancing With the Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev, during the first “The Bellas Podcast” episode in March.

“Yes, we are dating. Yes, I spend the night at his house … Artem and I are dating. We are not engaged, we are not married, we’re not boyfriend and girlfriend, we don’t say ‘I love you,'” Nikki confessed about her new beau. “Yeah, we make out. What else? He’s a great kisser.” They have frequently been photographed packing on the PDA since then.

Artem just celebrated his 37th birthday on June 12 and Nikki posted the sweetest tribute to the handsome dancer. “Happy Birthday to a man who not only makes my face smile, but my heart,” she wrote on Instagram. “You’re a special one, Mr. Chigvintsev! Your relaxing, calm, patient, kind, happy energy and aura is contagious! You truly are the kindest soul I have ever met. Thank you for bringing a lot of sunshine into my life. Happy Birthday, my Artem!”
