Nikki Bella Reflects on ‘Awkward’ First Date With ‘Bachelor’ Alum Peter Kraus
It sounds like Nikki Bella won’t be venturing on any dating shows anytime soon. During the newest season of Total Bellas, fans will finally get to watch her date with Bachelor Nation alum Peter Kraus. The fitness coach is such a stud but the WWE star admitted that the whole situation was so uncomfortable that she needed a few drinks to cope.
“Brie sets me up on a date with Peter [Kraus] from The Bachelorette and that was my first date in over six or seven years,” she explained to Busy Philipps on February 19. “It was so awkward and I totally got drunk.”
Although the 35-year-old works on camera for a living, she wasn’t used to getting her ~flirt~ on with the world watching. “I think that’s what embarrassed me a lot because here I am having this first date and all of the sudden I look to my left and it’s like two camera crews and I’m like, Oh my god, this is so weird,'” she admitted. “I didn’t even want to flirt because it was just so weird and awkward.”
Is there any hope that she would be interested in moving her talents to the Bachelor franchise? That’s a big “hell no” from Nikki. “I don’t know how they do that … And they kiss like everyone. How do they not spread germs?”
The Total Divas star famously dated John Cena off-and-on for six years. They ended up getting engaged but split just a few months before their wedding. There were rumors that the pair briefly reconciled a few months after their split, but parted ways again shortly after that.
For now, she’s dipping her feet back into the dating pool and even chatted up her former Dancing With the Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev, during a lunch date. Good luck out there, Nikki!
Total Bellas airs on E! Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
