‘Bachelorette’ Star Peter Kraus Goes On A Date With ‘Total Divas’ Nikki Bella And Wait, What?
When wrestlers meet roses? In a teaser clip for this week’s Total Divas episode, Nikki Bella is dipping her feet back into the dating pool after her split from ex-boyfriend, John Cena, this past summer. Her sister, Brie Bella, sets her up with former Bachelorette contestant, Peter Kraus!
In the short clip, Nikki says, “I feel like I am 15,” when she is FaceTiming with Peter from her phone and when the two are on a romantic gondola date, she says, “I don’t know if I am ready for this.” It looks like Peter leans in for a kiss though, so could this be a match made in reality TV heaven?
It’s been a rough couple of months for the Total Divas star since her split from John. She told Cosmopolitan, “I don’t want my relationship to define who I am, as a woman. And to take away all the hard work that I’ve ever done in my career. I think for a man, it’s different. I feel like, if anything, the woman gets blamed for what happens, for taking away from what they do. But I get all my work taken away because of that. I don’t know, I feel like sometimes there’s a double standard and I really have felt that. And it’s been really, really hard.”
The 34-year-old added, “Going through all that, I don’t ever want to do it again. It scares me to ever have another public relationship.”
Peter also was never a fan of dating in the public eye. We all remember that he left former Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, heartbroken after he decided that getting engaged after knowing each other for two months was not ideal. Peter opened up to InStyle earlier this year about dating: “I like it pretty simple, like a good dinner and good conversation. I don’t like to go to movies or anything like that because I feel like you don’t talk, you don’t do anything. So maybe mini golf or bowling.” Swoon.
It seems like Peter didn’t even tell his BFF, Dean Unglert, that he went on a date with the reality star! When E! News posted an Instagram video of the teaser, he wrote in the comments, “Still upset I’m finding out about this through enews @peterkrauswi.”
