Yikes! It looks like John Cena‘s barber has a serious vendetta against the wrestler because his new hairstyle isn’t exactly, er, his best look. At least that’s what his fans are saying all over Twitter, anyway. On Oct. 5, John got back into the famed WWE ring — and while people were definitely excited for his return following his split from Nikki Bella, they couldn’t help but notice one hairy flaw. 

“John Cena has arrived with a comb over and instantly looks deep into his 50’s and divorced,” one user wrote. “Good to see John Cena and his totally not a midlife crisis hair at WWE super showdown,” added another sarcastically. 

If you thought those were bad, think again! The internet had a field day with the 41-year-old’s new ‘do. In fact, the pop culture comparisons were pretty much non-stop including Marvel’s Captain America, Ned Flanders from The Simpsons, and Steve from Blue’s Clues. Oh, and of course, we can’t forget Ron Burgundy from Anchorman and a “massively jacked” Matt Damon. 

Whether or not John’s locks actually have anything to do with his Nikki drama remains to be seen. Although, it doesn’t exactly seem like a coincidence. After all, the former flames went from walking down the aisle to calling it quits very unexpectedly. 

To make matters worse, it looks like the Total Divas star has already moved on. The famous twin sparked headlines with a mystery man back in May after paparazzi captured photos of their little balcony rendezvous, according to Daily Mail.

More recently, however, the 34-year-old revealed to Us Weekly that she’s really not quite ready to forget her longtime love. “It’s kind of boring in the dating life,” Nikki said. Hmmm, sounds like she’s still got it bad for John. Maybe seeing his new look will help with that! Just kidding… sort of.
