ICYMI: Nikki’s twin sister, Brie Bella, set the professional wrestler, 35, up with The Bachelorette alum, 31, during an episode of Total Bellas. It went well, but things seemingly fizzled out shortly thereafter.

That said, it looks as though things between the pair are heating back up. Ooh, la la! On February 6, Nikki took to Instagram to leave quite the flirty comment on a selfie of Peter. “Aww cute!” the brunette beauty wrote. Peter’s response? “It ain’t LA,” with — GET THIS — a winking face. Not a winking emoji, mind you, but an old-school semi-colon-and-parenthesis one. We don’t know about y’all, but we definitely suspect that there’s more between Peter and Nikki than just friendship.

However, we do have to wonder WTF that means for Nikki and her former Dancing With the Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev. After all, they also went on a date and got their flirt on! Plus, Nikki and the dancer, 36, had a serious connection during their stint together on the series.

Moreover, a source revealed exclusively to Life & Style, that Artem and Nikki are more than just friends. “They got together for dinner and the chemistry from the dance floor came right back,” the source dished. “They hit it off. They’re taking it slow, but they’re really into each other.”

Sheesh. We don’t know what to think now! At the end of the day, Nikki is a newly single lady — she and fiancé John Cena split after six years together back in May 2018 — and it’s entirely possible that she’s just playing the field. Do you, girl! Although, if we had to pick … we think Peter is the way to go! Just saying.
