That was quick! After calling off their engagement on April 15 — less than two weeks before their wedding — John Cena and Nikki Bella are reportedly back together. "Nikki called off the wedding earlier this month so she could have more time to make a decision with what she wanted in life," a source told Us Weekly. "Calling off the wedding was the right decision at the moment and their relationship only grew from it."

The source added, "It didn't mean that any love was lost, or that they lost any feelings for one another, but they both have realized that they love each other and want to be with one another." Although Nikki and John have yet to confirm the news, it's not so shocking.

The pair have said multiple times since their initial breakup at the beginning of April that they still really care about each other. John actually professed his love for Nikki on the Today Show with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford. "I love her, I want to be with her, I want to make her my wife," he told the co-hosts. "I want to be the father of her children, I just want us to work."

The bombshell left Nikki "speechless" considering John's disinterest in starting a family with her was always a major problem in their relationship. "I know I cannot handle raising a child. And just because everyone else is happy with children doesn't mean that's how I have to live," John honestly admitted in a 2016 interview with Rolling Stone.

And at first, Nikki thought she could be happy without motherhood, but during a recent episode of Total Bellas, she admitted she couldn't see her future without kids in it. "I think, just because we're getting married and everything is so permanent, but it's giving me a bit of anxiety knowing it's like, 'OK, the day [the wedding] comes, that's it, the mom thing is done,'" Nikki told John during the episode. "And I would never force you to be a dad — I don't want that ever."

Now that they are reportedly back together, there's no telling what is going to happen between the two. The last time they were publicly spotted together was in San Diego just five days after John's romantic gesture on Today. So, did his change of heart work? It sure seems that way!
