Nikki Bella Shares ‘the Last Photo’ of Her Baby Bump: ‘We Were Headed to the Hospital’
The nostalgia is real … already! Nikki Bella shared the sweetest pregnancy memory with her fans while congratulating fiancé Artem Chigvintsev for rejoining the cast of Dancing With the Stars.
“This photo was taken after my water broke and we were headed to the hospital,” the Total Bellas star, 36, captioned a snapshot of herself embracing Artem while he rested his hands on her stomach. Additionally, Nikki thanked her sister, Brie Bella, for telling the first-time parents to take the picture. “Crazy it’s the last photo of my bump!” the Incomparable coauthor, who gave birth to her son on July 31, gushed. “Aww!!”
Nikki also shared a series of pictures featuring Artem’s sculpted body … because, why not? “Along with popping a bottle of [Dom Perignon] later, let’s celebrate a timeline of his abs. He’s gonna kill me but my man is a SNACK. Swipe left and enjoy!” the former WWE wrestler joked.
Turns out, Artem was A-OK with it. “From [a dad bod] to this in two weeks, that’s a challenge. Love you and our little boy,” the professional dancer wrote, along with a red heart emoji. Clearly, the lovebirds can’t get enough of each other.
However, that wasn’t exactly the case when Nikki was expecting. A few weeks before the pair welcomed their baby boy, the California native revealed her man was “terrified” of having pregnancy sex. “I can even tell when we’ll do it, it’s like the minute the hand goes around the belly, he’s like, ‘Oh s–t,’ and it’s boner crusher zone,” Nikki laughed during a July 20 episode of Celebrity Call Center.
“They think they’re just gonna crush through our cervix and break the baby’s neck, and it’s like, look, even if you were a horse, there’s no chance in hell,” the Total Divas alum continued. “You’re not breaking through … I remind him when that baby comes, we’re not having sex for a few months.”
