Boy, bye! Nikki Bella don’t need no man and she’s not afraid who knows it. The Total Divas star had the “best” time ringing in her 35th birthday with her twin sister, Brie Bella, surrounded by friends and family members which made her realize that “she didn’t need ex John Cena,” a source told Hollywood Life. Her birthday was on Nov. 21, which fell one day before Thanksgiving this year, so there was a lot to be thankful for. This revelation is reportedly making it “even easier for her to begin this next chapter of her life.” Yes! New outlook on life, who dis?
Nikki enjoyed “large family dinners” to bond with the people closest in her life. The source continued, “She flew to her hometown of Arizona on her birthday after celebrating with her brother [JJ Garcia], sister-in-law [Lauren Garcia], and twin sister Brie in LA.”
It looks like a little time healed the rough break up she and John went through. The insider gushed, “She was in a really great mood and is in the best place she has been in a really long time.” They continued, “She was so happy to be surrounded by family and not thinking about John or work for a while. She knows she’s going to be so busy come the new year, so she really was taking this time to relax and be with family.”
Of course, there was also a lot of snuggles with Brie’s daughter Birdie. “There’s nothing she loves more than being an auntie. Sure, it makes her have the itch for her own kids one day, but that almost helps her move forward since she knew deep down John didn’t want kids and that’s why the relationship will never work.” The source added, “This weekend was just what [Nikki] needed and she’s so excited to return home again for Christmas.”
It looks like Nikki is doing better than ever. As for John? He’s keeping busy, as well. He reportedly just wrapped on a production with Jackie Chan he’s been working on in China for the past five months. It seems like distance has done wonders for both of them.
