Nikki Glaser Defends Ozempic Users Following Her Own Weight Loss Journey: ‘Hell Yeah’
Nikki Glaser defended Ozempic users after she embarked on her own weight loss journey..
“I love it. I’m like, ‘Do it,’” Nikki, 40, said about weight loss drugs during her appearance on the Tuesday, March 24, episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I have no judgment. If you want to do Ozempic, hell yeah, girl.”
After noting that there is still a societal stigma when it comes to using the medication, Nikki encouraged people to become more vocal about their Ozempic usage.
“I want people to feel more comfortable talking about doing it, because I feel like there’s this shame,” she continued, referencing the medication that is intended for people with diabetes but is now become popular for weight loss. “The shame is only from thin people who want you to stay fat. That’s really where it’s coming from. They’re so mad that you’re getting thin now, because that’s all they have, right? You’re dynamic, you have a good personality, and they’re so mad.”
The I Feel Pretty star then joked that people who are opposed to Ozempic often have one argument. “They just go, ‘You’re stealing medicine from diabetics who need it.’ That’s their excuse,” she said. “Like anyone’s ever cared about someone with diabetes who doesn’t have it.”
“It’s suddenly all these thin white women who are like, ‘Diabetics need their meds.’ No, I think you’re upset that Kathy Bates has a thigh gap,” she added. “She’s coming for you. That’s more what it could be about, I think.”
Nikki made the joke about Kathy’s noticeable weight loss after the Matlock star told People in October 2024 that she lost 20 pounds from taking Ozempic and 80 pounds from making healthy lifestyle changes.
While fans have noticed that Nikki has also lost weight recently, she did not reveal if she used any weight loss medication herself to achieve her physique.

She previously made a joke about Ozempic while hosting the Golden Globes in January. As she directed her attention to the A-list stars in the crowd, Nikki deemed the evening as “Ozempic’s biggest night.”
Not only did Nikki express her approval for people using weight loss drugs during the appearance, but she also shared her supportive thoughts about plastic surgery while talking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
“I think it’s a wise investment,” the comedian said about plastic surgery. “There’s a stigma around getting face work or investing in your beauty and doing all these procedures. And there is maybe a little bit of a sadness to it, but I kind of also am like, ‘Well, it makes my life better.’”
Nikki added that “people treat you better when you’re hotter.”
“It’s a sad fact of life. And everyone goes, ‘That’s so sad. Why don’t you love the way you were born?’” she continued. “And it’s like, ‘Well, why did you go to college? Why don’t you love the brain you were born with? Why did you pay thousands of dollars to that institution?’”
