‘One Tree Hill’ Stars Bethany Joy Lenz, Tyler Hilton Announce New Album of Iconic Songs From Show

In addition to the video, Lenz and Hilton shared even more details about the project in the post’s caption.

“ANDD we forgot to announce live on the podcast but over cake seems just as fitting to celebrate! We decided 3 songs weren’t enough, so we recorded a few more staple songs from the show and we can’t wait to hear for you to them all,” the caption stated. ‘“Well, Well, Well’ the full album will be out next FRIDAY, November 7! From Halo, Missing You, You’ll Ask For Me … and more, they are all YOURS!”

The album title is a nod to a line Hilton’s character, Chris Keller, would often say on One Tree Hill. Lenz starred on the show as Haley James Scott, a musician who collaborated with Chris despite his large ego.

Shortly after they made the album announcement, several fans took to the comments section to express their excitement over the project.

“Yessss getting more music from you two is pure GOLD!! Please sell CDs of Well, Well, Well, I love owning all your CDs,” one person wrote, while another added, “Well well well.. this is such great news!!!! And this was such a fun way to announce it!!! So excited to hear all the songs!!! And we all need the physical copy!!!”

Lenz and Hilton shared the announcement just days after they teased some new songs in an Instagram post on October 29.

“It’s like we never left… (volume up!),” they captioned photos of them singing together, which was set to a new version of their collaboration “When the Stars Go Blue.” Their characters famously sang the song on the show, which began a storyline with them going on tour together.

In the following days, the former costars continued to tease their new project by sharing glimpses into even more of their songs. One cover they posted was of the show’s theme song, “I Don’t Want to Be.”

“Being back in the studio felt like no time had passed…We hope you guys love these versions of some of our favorite moments from the show as much as we enjoyed recreating them. To the fans who for the past 20 years have listened and loved the music of One Tree Hill, this is for you (and for @gavindegraw ),” they captioned the video. “Thank you for constantly being on this ride with us and cheering us on…and we aren’t even done yet. Stay tuned and see some of you this weekend.”
