For her 18th birthday, Paris Jackson treated herself to a new tattoo — and the meaning behind it is extremely sentimental.

The only daughter of late pop icon Michael Jackson took to Instagram on Tuesday to show off the wrist ink, which reads, "Queen of My Heart," in her father's handwriting.

"To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart," Paris captioned the black-and-white photo.

Tattoo artist Justin Lewis, of Timeless Tattoo 738 in LA, also showed off his handiwork on social media, writing, "Paris Michael Jackson got her tattoo today, letters from her father, so sweet."

This June marks the seventh anniversary of Michael's death at the age of 50. He left behind Paris and her two brothers, Prince, 19, and Blanket, 14.

Paris had previously talked about getting a tattoo in honor of her dad. "I kinda want to get August XXIX tatted on my back," she said a few years after his death, referring to the singer's Aug. 29, 1958, birthdate.
