Pregnant ‘Bachelor’ Contestant Bekah Martinez’s Due Date Is Sooner Than You Think!
Baby on the way! Former Bachelor contestant Bekah Martinez is pregnant with her first child, and Bachelor Nation can’t get over the shocking news. The reality star, who is currently dating boyfriend Grayston Leonard, made her pregnancy announcement in a 6-minute video on YouTube. So when is Bekah Martinez’s due date? Bekah starts the video by explaining the real reason she had to miss out on joining Bachelor In Paradise this summer. “Not only do I have a boyfriend, I also now have a kid on the way,” she explained. She then revealed that she’s 20 weeks pregnant, and it’s “almost middle of September,” which means she should be due around January 2019.
Bekah recalled the moment she first realized she was expecting after taking a pregnancy test. “The first thing I felt when I saw the positive was just pure shock, like my hands are shaking, and I was just like ‘oh my god,’ the first thing I did was pick up the phone and call Grayston,” she shared. “I don’t think I had even processed it in my head… I just paused the pregnancy test… and oh my god… like, oh my god.”
It wasn’t until she saw the actual line on the pregnancy test show up that the news started to sink in. But Bekah admits she’s now at a point where she can embrace her pregnancy and get excited for it. “This is what I’ve always wanted,” she said. “I don’t care what the circumstances are. This is gonna work. This is my baby.”
But what does Grayston think? Well, he’s excited too! “As it’s gone further, that’s been, almost every day has become happier for me,” he said. “The realer it becomes, the more visible the signs become, like she’s got a little bump now and her belly button is starting to push out… it’s like all of these things make it really fun and real. And it is this transforming moment from if I have to, I’ll do it. I’ll be a good dad, I’ll stand up to the occasion.”
