Growing up before our eyes! Prince George turns 6 on July 22, and by the looks of it, his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are throwing him a big birthday bash.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have gone all out to organize a birthday party for George,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that the duchess “has done most of the organizing herself.” But don’t don’t think the duke has gotten himself out of party planning — apparently, he’s helping put things together too.

“George loves magic,” the insider added, so the couple hired a magician for the birthday bash, which was William’s idea. There will also be a bouncy castle. The party will take place at Kensington Palace with George’s classmates as the attendees. His younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 14 months, will also partake in all the festivities.

Aside from making sure the birthday boy has everything he wants on his special day, “Kate’s asked them to make pizza, pasta and sliders,” the insider said. The dessert will include cupcakes, candy and ice cream. We’re sure George is going to love his party.

William and Kate are very involved in their three children’s lives. Not only are they choosing to plan the party themselves, but they also make sure to give them a an overall normal childhood. That’s something that Princess Diana instilled in both William and his brother, Prince Harry. The late royal “made it her mission to give her kids everyday experiences,” a source told Life & Style magazine exclusively, “and William and Kate are huge believers in carrying on that tradition.”

Kate likes to bond with them by involving “George and Charlotte in some of her projects, like building a garden at the Chelsea Flower Show. They had so much fun that they’re now doing their own gardening.”

They [also] bake and decorate cakes together,” the source added. Who knows, maybe George will make some of the goodies for his birthday bash!
