Congrats!‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Bartender Wells Adams and ‘Modern Family’ Star Sarah Hyland Are Engaged!
We hear the wedding bells ringing! Sarah Hyland took to Instagram on July 16 to reveal that her longtime boyfriend Wells Adams had finally popped the question — and now they’re blissfully engaged!
The Modern Family actress shared a series of photos of Wells down on one knee on a beach (plus her massive new rock,) writing, “That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff ✨❤️ @wellsadams.” The Bachelor in Paradise bartender quickly replied in the comments, writing, “It takes two! Well 5 including the doggos! Love you more bab … fiancé!” So cute!
For his part, Wells posted a sweet video of his oceanside proposal with the caption, “I’ll be Johnny, you be June. But forever.” In the background, “I Like to Be With Me When I’m With You” by Drew Holcomb is playing, and we dare you not to tear up with that combo! Sarah responded, “I love you to Pluto and back FIANCÉ!!!!” and then added a little more. “When we get married will I automatically acquire your talent for making everyone cry with a homemade video?”
Sarah seems over-the-moon about her massive diamond engagement ring, which appears to be a large oval-cut sparkler from jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz. Heck, we would be thrilled too — Wells definitely did an amazing job picking out his new fianceé’s ring!
It didn’t take long for all of Bachelor Nation to rush to the comments sections to send their congratulations. “WUT WUT WUT!!! This is MAGICAL❤️ CONGRATULATIONS!,” commented Kristina Schulman, a friend of Wells’ from Paradise. Vanessa Grimaldi added, “Awwww CONGRATS!!!💕💕💕💕,” while Blake Horstmann wrote, “🙌🙌🙌 Congrats. That’s amazing! Love ya guys!”
While there’s no information on when the engagement happened or where, the background of the photos does appear to be on a rocky beach, and it wouldn’t be impossible to imagine that Wells might actually pop the question on Bachelor in Paradise this season. Especially since former Bachelor producer Elan Gale responded, “It has been impossible to not say anything so now that we are clear: WOOOOOOOOOO BABY YEAHH YOU DID IT BABYYYYY YEAAHHHHHHH.” We can’t wait to find out!
