While most of us wouldn’t know what it’s like to constantly have our photo taken, the royal family has plenty of experience in that department. So much, in fact, that they’ve found a way to reduce their camera time — and it’s kind of working for Prince William and Kate Middleton!

In an extensive Vanity Fair profile on Prince Charles, royal correspondents revealed that William and Kate are known to make life difficult for photographers… they purposely go out of their way to never focus at a “fixed point,” which results in awkward or unusable pics.

On the other hand, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are quite the opposite. The Prince of Wales and his lady are “far more relaxed,” while the younger royals come off as “control freaks.” Camilla enjoys the spotlight so much that she’s even become one of the photographer’s favorite royal family member. “She knows all our names, she fosters a sense that we’re all in this together. She always gives you a little gleam in her eye and will find a moment to look at our cameras,” admitted a second correspondent.

While William and Kate may not be fans of the attention, the same can’t be said about their adorable children. Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3, are known to always make silly faces in front of the camera, without a care in the world. Prince Louis is only six months old, but we can see him following his older siblings’ footsteps in no time!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also seem to be a bit different from their siblings/in-laws. Those two always come out smiling in photos. No, seriously. Have you ever seen a photo of Meghan looking serious? We think not!

Hopefully, the royal family never changes their posing ways, because let’s be honest, as different as they are from each other, they represent a mood for everyone.
