Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Reveals He And Baby Mama Jen Harley Do Couples Therapy For ‘Seven Hours’ A Day
Will time heal all wounds? Ronnie Ortiz-Magro revealed he and baby mama Jen Harley sought out professional help to fix their relationship problems on last night’s episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. The reality star admitted that he and Jen were planning to go to couples therapy “seven hours” a day.
During the emotional episode, Ronnie, 32, surprised everyone when he arrived to Deena Cortese‘s gender reveal party after his heated showdown with Jen. “Last time we talked to Ron, he got run over by Jen in a car and he was in the hospital,” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, 30, said. “He didn’t come to Seaside. All of us are concerned about Ron, we don’t know what’s going on with him. But he’s our family, he’s our brother, and we just want to make sure he’s OK.” Ronnie then explained what went down during the altercation with his estranged baby mama.
“I got out of the car, she drove off, maybe — I think I grabbed onto the door and I fell. It was just a bunch of unfortunate events, bro,” Ronnie said while telling his side of the story. “We’re going to do some couples therapy. Seven hours of therapy a day. It’s like school and then you take the f–king final.” His cast mates looked scared by his confession, since they now understood the severity of the situation. “I’m honestly scared. Because this is a serious thing,” Vinny Guadagnino said during his confessional. “Like, Jen literally is dragging Ronnie with a car and she went to jail.”
Fast forward to now, and it appears Ronnie and Jen are doing the best to move on while focusing on their daughter, Ariana. On Aug. 30, the reality star broke his silence on their relationship status. “For the record, I love my daughter and the mother of my child. The way I felt during that moment isn’t [how] I feel three months later,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, this season caught a rough patch in both our lives [but] we stuck together and got through it. Ariana grows up in a happy home, regardless of what is shown and edited for TV. She has two amazing parents who love her.”
