Say yes to staying in on Saturday nights to watch this guilty pleasure! 2019 is already looking brighter because Say Yes to the Dress is making its triumphant return to TLC. It looks like fans can expect lots of advice from Randy, some ~unconventional~ brides, a few famous faces, and a whole lot of stress.
The show is returning on Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. EST which will get you in the engagement mood before the premiere of The Bachelor on Jan. 7. The TV gods work in mysterious ways. The newest season of SYTTD promises “demanding brides, dysfunctional wedding parties, and making dreams come true,” according to the announcement on Instagram. Judging from the trailer, it looks like these brides are going to give the staff a run for their money.

YAS! Say “I do” to demanding brides, dysfunctional wedding parties, and making dreams come true on the new season of #SYTTD premiering on @tlc Saturday, January 5th at 8/7c! 🙌🏼 ✨ 💍 Then, watch the iconic black dress bride, Cami Li, and her new husband continue their happily ever after as they search for their first home on #SayYestotheNest — premiering right after on @hgtv!
Kleinfeld is used to their fair share of bridezillas and famous faces. Bachelor in Paradise alum, Ashley Iaconetti, even had an appointment at the famous bridal boutique for her upcoming wedding with Jared Haibon. While she didn’t dish if she officially “said yes to the dress,” she did keep a few options hidden from Instagram which means she definitely found some top contenders.
Perhaps what’s even more exciting is the announcement of a new spin-off show called Say Yes to the Nest premiering on HGTV. According to the network’s site, only a sneak peek of the home-centric series will premiere on Jan. 5 after SYTTD, but the season launches in March of 2019. Episodes will follow “different newlyweds on their journey to finding and purchasing their first shared home.”
“A significant milestone for any couple, this show not only offers insight into what a couple is looking for in a home, but it also provides an inside look at the dynamics of their relationship as they begin to lay the foundation for a ‘nest’ of their own,” HGTV dished about their newest series.
Newlyweds, homes, and compromises — sounds like just the right mixture for a binge-worthy show. Can’t wait!
