‘School of Rock’ Kids Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli Are Married 2 Decades After Starring in the Film
From School of Rock to happily ever after! Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, who starred in the 2003 film alongside Jack Black, officially kicked off 2025 with a bang and tied the knot.
Caitlin, 33, looked gorgeous as she showed off her slim build in a form fitting strapless white gown that included a thigh-high slit on the side. She wore her blonde locks down for the big day and paired her dress with sparkly knee-high boots. Angelo, 32, wore a black suit for the big day.
The newlyweds’ nuptials were watched by several of their School of Rock costars, including Rivkah Reyes, Brian Falduto, Joey Gaydos, Jr., Cole Hawkins, Maryam Hassan, Aleisha Allen and Robert Tsai.
“Every detail that went into this wedding was so well thought out. What an honor to witness & share this day with you two. LOVE YOUUUU,” Rivkah, 32, wrote in the comments section of Caitlin’s photos shared via Instagram on Wednesday, January 8.
Rivkah also shared some photos of her own from Caitlin and Angelo’s wedding, including snaps with her former “classmates,” the same.
“Best wedding ever. Congrats C&A. Soooo grateful to be a part of this family,” the actress wrote.
Maryam, 31, who played Tomika in School of Rock, posted a video of Caitlin, Angelo and their friends and family breaking it down on the dancefloor at the reception. She set the clip to Stevie Nicks’ song “Edge of Seventeen.”
“1st post of the year and what better way to kick it off than with my framily of 20+ years?!” Maryam captioned the clip. “I spent the past weekend witnessing Caitlyn & Angelo get married and it was absolutely beautiful and the perfect little reunion for us all!!!”
She continued, “The room was full of LOVE, LAUGHS, a lot of dancing and FOOD! (Baby, they made sure we were STUFFED). Love y’all dearly and thank you both for kicking the year off with a BANGGG.”

Caitlin and Angelo first met during auditions for the film, and he’s spoken about how she caught his eye before she was officially cast in the movie.
“I remember my first audition for School of Rock like it was yesterday,” Angelo said during an interview with Inside Edition published on May 24, 2021. “I get in there and the little blonde girl next to me, she gets called in first and she starts singing show tunes and just blows the roof off the place. It was excellent.”
He also revealed that several of the cast members stayed in touch via a group chat after filming, and that’s ultimately what led to the two falling in love.
“We have a group chat where all the School of Rock kids, we just hit each other up whenever someone moves somewhere new or is doing something different,” Angelo told the outlet. “So Caitlin is like, ‘Hey, I’m moving down to Florida.’”
After meeting for lunch and then drinks, Angelo said the rest was “history.”
While neither Caitlin or Angelo officially announced they were engaged, she posted photos that hinted at an engagement in October 2024.
“Sneak peek,” she wrote next to the carousel of photos.
