‘Bachelor’ Winner Juliana Pasquarosa Unveils Dazzling Engagement Ring After Grant Ellis’ Proposal
Bachelor winner Juliana Pasquarosa showed off her dazzling engagement ring after Grant Ellis’ romantic proposal on the highly anticipated season 29 finale.
Grant, 31, got down on one knee to pop the question to his bride-to-be, 28, after determining whether he wanted to settle down with Juliana or Litia Garr during the Final Rose Ceremony in the Dominican Republic.
Leading up to the last episode, sparks were flying between the couple.
“Juliana, since our first night playing the piano and getting to know you, we’ve always had a connection. Through this whole journey, you’ve always been someone that has inspired me … I truly believe you are somebody who is my best friend. … I’ll be there for you as your man, as your friend, as your partner. Juliana will you marry me?” Grant asked her during his proposal, and she replied, “Yes.”
It was down to Juliana, Litia and Zoe McGrady when they embarked on their fantasy suite dates after venturing to Secrets Tides Punta Cana during the March 17 episode.
Fans watched as Juliana had a heart-to-heart with Daisy Kent from Joey Graziadei’s season to chat about fantasy suites.
“I had a hard time opening up too. … [But] I started opening up and it kind of changed everything for me,” Daisy, 26, said while giving her advice. “I know I did everything I could and I gave it my all. I look back on it and I don’t regret it.”
During that episode, Juliana also met up with Grant for a fun-filled ATVing date.
“Next time, I’m driving!” she quipped to Grant during their outing.
Their bond was even more evident as Grant confided in Juliana that his grandma was from the Dominican Republic, and she recently died.
Despite their blossoming connection, Juliana said she still had her fair share of concerns.
“I start to spiral because I also know that there’s other girls here that he’s also forming connections with and the fact that it could not be me reminds me of my past relationship,” she said in an oncamera interview.
Grant, however, did try to give her some peace of mind. “I am falling for you, and this whole week is obviously hard, but I’m going to let you know, I think about you a lot,” he told Juliana.
Juliana even opened up about being cheated on in the past and how it impacted her romantic relationships. “It’s such a challenge to go from feeling so minimized in somebody’s life and that just screwed me up so bad,” she said.
“It did like, a lot of damage to me that’s hard to talk about and admit,” she told Grant. “You know, it broke me to the point that I had to walk away.”
Juliana said that she has made quite a bit of progress, but is admittedly “a little broken” and “still working to fix myself.”
“I look at you and I’m like who … somebody messed up letting you down like that,” Grant said in response. “Where somebody else messed up, I see treasure.”
The pair ultimately spent the night together and were in great spirits the following morning. “We got a lot of questions answered. Said a lot of things, had a lot of fun,” Juliana said.
Fans, of course, didn’t know what to expect after he told Litia, 31, that he loved her. “I think the maturity that you bring is big. I like the ground that you stand on, and I know where your priorities are, and I know what’s important to you, it’s what you are on the inside that I can see myself with you,” Grant said. “And see you as my wife, because I do love you.”
It seems he followed his heart in the end and decided Juliana was his perfect match!
