“Selena is ready for a new boyfriend ASAP. All this Justin and Hailey marriage buzz has Selena feeling emotional and ready for a new relationship to keep her mind off her ex,” a source close to the “Back To You” singer revealed to Hollywood Life. Sounds like the perfect plan, if you ask us.

We totally commend Selena, 26, for taking some much needed time to process her longtime love’s engagement news and have fun with her gal pals, but we certainly wouldn’t mind shipping a new Hollywood couple. “Selena had been taking time to heal, hang with her girls, and to work on her career — but now she is starting to feel lonely,” the source continued. “She misses having someone to kiss and go out with on date nights and stuff.”

Don’t get it twisted, though! Selena may be lonely, but she’s hardly desperate… yes, there’s a difference. “Selena isn’t going to just settle for any guy. She wants fireworks and butterflies,” the source explained. “She obviously had major issues with Justin, but the connection she had with him was so deep and intense — she wants to feel that again.”

Here’s hoping that Selena gets to experience those fireworks and butterflies sometime soon. TBH, we’re just happy that the brunette beauty no longer thinks she’s going to be single for the rest of her life.
