Shakira Reveals She Canceled Performances Due to 21-Month-Old Son’s Illness
A week after canceling two performances due to "personal matters," Shakira explained to fans why she was forced to back out of both the Latin Grammy Awards and the AMAs.
Revealing that her 21-month-old son Sasha had been ill, the 39-year-old wrote, "Thanks for all the messages you sent for Sasha while he was sick. Everything is under control now, and he's back to his cheerful self!"

The singer didn't elaborate further on his condition, but posted a photo of Sasha and his older brother, Milan, 3, playing outside later in the day.
Shakira shares both of the boys with longtime boyfriend Gerard Piqué. We can't wait to see the Grammy winner back on stage soon!
