Stephanie Pratt Opens Up About ‘Awkward’ Drama On ‘The Hills’: ‘I’m Already Ready For A Break’
New reboot, same old drama. It looks like things are still rocky between Spencer Pratt and his sister, Stephanie. Most of the original cast members, including Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge, are expected to appear on The Hills: New Beginnings relaunch, but it looks like Stephanie is not enjoying the “crazy” drama while filming.
“I think people are expecting to see a more mature side of everything. It’s mature in the sense that we all have houses, but yeah that’s it,” Stephanie said during her new podcast, Pratt Cast, that she co-hosts with Bachelor Nation favorite Wells Adams. Unexpected duo? Yes, but we’ll listen to anything with Wells in it.
“It’s been crazy. I’m already ready for a break,” the reality starlet dished about filming The Hills. “Everyone thinks [the reboot will be scripted] but from being on Made in Chelsea, I can say this has gotten so real and we’re only a few episodes in that I would do anything for a script.”
Stephanie and Spencer have had a tumultuous relationship since the first time they graced our TV screens. During the first Hills go-around, Stephanie ended up choosing to side with Lauren Conrad during the on-screen drama and it looks like Spencer isn’t over it. “A long time ago, he told me that he unsistered me so I don’t think I’ve been sistered back. It’s been awkward,” she admitted.
Stephanie even revealed that she had to find out Heidi and Spencer were expecting their son, Gunner, through a news outlet. “I think the headline was ‘Stephanie gets the best gift of all,’ which was just like a horrible shock,” she said. “[Their] child just turned one and I have seen him five times. I held him once. It’s horrific, but I’m still in a good mood. It’s all good.”
However, even through the ups and downs, Stephanie still has nothing but love for her big brother. “Even when he told me I was adopted at like 12, I still love him and believe everything he’s said. I’m his biggest fan,” she gushed.
Well, it looks like The Hills: New Beginnings is going to be a total rollercoaster. Can’t wait!
