Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo Calls Herself the ‘Breadwinner’ in Craig Conover Relationship Before Split
Summer House star Paige DeSorbo didn’t sugarcoat things when she called herself the “breadwinner” in her relationship with Craig Conover before their split.
“The more I think this, the more anxious I get,” Paige, 32, admitted to costar Ciara Miller about the issues she and Craig, 36, had been facing during the Wednesday, April 9, episode, which was filmed over the summer of 2024. “In true, like, Paige and Craig fashion, I was like, ‘Dude, I feel like you’re not supportive.’”
Ciara, 29, quickly proved she had Paige’s back by responding, “I don’t want him stealing the shine from your tour.”
Earlier in the season, Craig expressed his concerns about Paige going on her “Giggly Squad” podcast tour. While Paige was excited about the major career milestone, Craig claimed he felt that she was putting her work ahead of their relationship.
Ciara went on to say that Craig was giving “hater boyfriend energy” when he “refuses to acknowledge” Paige’s successes. “Why should you dim your light just to make him feel comfortable?” she asked.
Paige said she believed Craig wanted her to “work less” in order to focus on their relationship, which led Ciara to ask if she would ever consider moving to Charleston, South Carolina, to be with him full time.
“No. I’ve told him multiple times,” Paige – who lives in New York City – said. “I was like, ‘I don’t want to have children in Charleston. I don’t want to raise them in Charleston.’ He was like, ‘That’s fine, we’ll do it in New York.’ Like, OK. But then as it gets closer, and more real, he’s like, ‘I don’t know.’”
Paige added that she needed to stay in New York in order to provide for herself. “I’m the breadwinner, so why the f–k would you not move to me?” she added about Craig. “That would just be stupid, logistically.”
The influencer went on to explain that she had told Craig “so many times” that he can end their relationship “if this is not what you want.”
Ciara then pointed out that Paige was “putting it on him,” and she was seemingly avoiding her own feelings in the situation. “It’s so much easier to give the other person the out than to really dig deep and determine if that’s really what you want,” the model said. “Sorry.”
After taking in Ciara’s comments, Paige insisted that she wanted to be with the Southern Charm star. “I love Craig. When I think about me and Craig breaking up, I get upset. I’m like, ‘No. I don’t want him with anyone else,” she said. “I don’t want to be with anyone else.’ So, I get conflicted.”

Paige then wondered why she doesn’t “compromise on certain s–t” in their relationship, and she added, “I feel like I’m being gaslit into things that I need to compromise on.”
Ciara told Paige that she wanted her to figure out her feelings, or else she would likely have a “lifelong tussle” about her relationship with Craig.
“Do you feel like he’s still your person?” Ciara asked, and Paige honestly replied, “I don’t know.”
The emotional conversation aired on Bravo more than three months after Paige confirmed that she and Craig called it quits after three years of dating in December 2024.
“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together. I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing,” she revealed during her “Giggly Squad” podcast. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
