Tana Mongeau Says She ‘100 Percent’ Believes in ‘Girl Code’ Despite Bella Thorne’s Accusations
Just because Tana Mongeau is set to walk down the aisle with Jake Paul in a few days, doesn’t mean that she’s not still dealing with ex-girlfriend drama. In fact, her longtime flame Bella Thorne recently went after the popular YouTuber on Twitter for breaking “girl code.”
While Bella, 21, didn’t go into too much detail about what Tana, 21, did to upset her, fans suspect the feud began after the reality star went to dinner with Bella’s ex-boyfriend Mod Sun. Since then, Tana has shot down Bella’s accusations. “Absolutely. 100 percent at all times I believe in girl code,” the blonde beauty expressed at Booby Tape’s USA Launch Party on Thursday, July 25.
Beyond that, Tana didn’t address the (very public) argument any further, but she did make it pretty clear that Bella was unlikely to attend her wedding. “She is shooting a movie and she’s probably the busiest person I’ve ever met in my entire life,” Tana said. “So, I never ever hold her accountable for being somewhere … because I know that’s not how she defines her love.”
Defines her love, huh? Based on that, we can only assume that she and Bella have reconciled their differences. However, it’s worth noting that the former Disney Channel actress also accused Tana of only getting involved with her for social media notoriety — which doesn’t sound like something you forgive easily.
“You legit started dating me for Twitter. How about you answer your phone and talk to me instead of being on Twitter,” Bella wrote at the time. “Dude, what are you doing, Bella? Like, I have no idea why you’re mad,” Tana immediately replied. “I’ve been texting you every minute since you tweeted, and for you to be tweeting me something as hurtful as saying I date you for Twitter is literally f–king nuts and if you honestly think that, damn, I lost you.”
Sigh. Tana’s love life gets more and more complicated by the day. Here’s hoping that once she’s married, she can put all this ex nonsense behind her.
