Poor thing! Tana Mongeau took to Twitter on July 29 — just one day after her wedding to Jake Paul — to reveal that she had to put her honeymoon trip to Europe on hold to deal with a “family emergency.”

“Jake’s headed to Europe and I have to deal with a family emergency … I’m gonna meet him there the second I can,” the 21-year-old beauty explained to her fans. “So excited to decompress from the past few months of chaos & celebrate US with no one around.”

“Pictures and stuff soon but right now my number one focus is dealing with this family emergency …. sometimes God gives us hardships at really bad timing which sucks because I truly don’t want this to take away from all of the love I was surrounded by last night & in this life … trying to be strong to be the best example I can be for all of you. Thank you for everything u guys. U are truly my family.” Tana has yet to explain what’s going on with her loved ones, and her 22-year-old husband hasn’t spoken out about the issue, but we hope everyone is A-OK.

Despite the unpleasant surprise, Tana seems more than thrilled with how her nuptials turned out — drama and all. “Last night was an unconventional crazy girl’s dream wedding,” she gushed. “I love Jake so f–king much and there’s no one else on Earth I could’ve done that with. Truly slow dancing while they’re screaming. We’re both still recovering hard.”

The wedding truly was a whirlwind. Between Tana’s three outfit changes, Jake’s fedora, and an all-out brawl that broke out seconds after the couple said “I do,” it was definitely an evening to remember. We just hope Tana’s family emergency is resolved quickly so she can get on with her honeymoon. After all, that’s the best part, right?
