Usually, weddings end with a happy couple walking out of the ceremony hand-in-hand, but Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau‘s Vegas nuptials concluded with an all-out brawl! Right after the YouTuber couple said their “I dos” at the Graffiti Mansion on July 28, someone poured champagne on them and a massive fight broke out when the officiant decided to throw punches.
“It was Arman Izadi, the officiant, just punched people in the head cause they poured champagne on Tana and Jake,” explained the MTV No Filter: Tana Turns 21 star’s manager Jordan Worona after the drama subsided. Sadly, it actually interrupted the couple’s first kiss as spouses. “At first it looked like Jake blew off the kiss, because it happened right before,” an eyewitness told Life & Style exclusively. “He had to move as the champagne was being poured, and then the punching.” It’s still unclear who threw the drink that started the melee.
“It was an all-out brawl, mass chaos for two and a half minutes,” the source continued. “So much so that we couldn’t see anything. It got pushed out like a mosh pit. People were on chairs trying to take pictures, and had to jump out of the way as it got bigger. There was glass broken, chairs everywhere.”
Luckily, Jake and Tana didn’t have to end the ceremony without a proper kiss. The iconic pair headed back to the altar after the drama died down, and made sure they got the smooch right on the second try.

After a whirlwind relationship and engagement, it seemed nearly impossible that their star-studded wedding could go off without some sort of fiasco. Luckily, Jake and Tana are used to it after having to constantly defend their choice to get married within a few months of beginning dating, and the blonde beauty didn’t seem troubled by the event. “Someone just threw a glass of champagne at jake and I at the f–king altar holy f–k HAAHAHAHAHAHA,” she wrote on Twitter moments after the ceremony ended. “Jana don’t need no press. Wow. Just married. Honestly made it better … to slow dance while they scream. I love you @jakepaul. Hello Tana Paul!”
