YouTubers Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau Are Officially Married (in Sickness and in Clout)!
Holy “Cloutrimony”: achieved. YouTubers Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau actually got married in a sweet ceremony at Graffiti Mansion in Las Vegas on Sunday, July 28! Looks like YouTube dreams really do come true, y’all. (Except for the part where a fight broke out, but you can read about that here.)
The bride, 21, wore a lovely dress by GLAUDI by Johana Hernandez and the groom, 22, looked pretty decked out in a white suit with a black leather Dior bag, a fedora, and an umbrella. Yes, you read that right, an umbrella. The couple was surrounded by family and friends — and of course, the MTV film crew. Naturally, the sweet ceremony was being filmed for the network but it remains to be seen if fans will see the footage on Tana’s show, Tana Turns 21, or on a big special all it’s own.
The YouTube couple started dating back in early May on the heels of Tana’s big breakup with her ex, Brad Sousa. Once they made their romance official, they became regular fixtures in each other’s vlog and Instagram content. Even “Jana” merch popped up on Jake’s channel.
A month later, they sealed the deal. The duo got engaged on June 24 and have been trying to “prove” their relationship to fans and followers since. Jake legit made a video with Tana for his channel called “To the PEOPLE who think we aren’t ACTUALLY engaged …,” so when we say they’ve been trying we really mean it.
The YouTubers both definitely have a penchant for the dramatic and the expensive so it makes sense some people think they had orchestrated the whole relationship for “clout.” But they really do have some serious chemistry, as displayed in the romantic engagement photos they took on July 6.
Then, Jake surprised Tana at VidCon on July 13, which was an extremely big moment for her since TanaCon last year. It was at the milestone event that they proved their romance once and for all with the sweet gesture — by announcing their wedding date on stage.
And now, here we are. Congrats, you two!
