Tana Mongeau Tweets About David Dobrik Texting Her ‘for the Past 2 Days’ and We Have Some Questions
YouTube’s newest sweethearts or just friends? Tana Mongeau took to Twitter on Sunday, January 5, to reveal that she and fellow influencer David Dobrik have been chatting.
“For the past two days, I’ve been coincidentally napping when David texted me, ‘What are you doing?’ So, I just changed his text tone to an alarm tone because 2020 is not a year of f–king up my bag,” she wrote.
Considering Tana, 21, and David, 23, run in a similar circle, it’s entirely possible that there’s nothing ~romantic~ going on. However, this isn’t the first time they’ve sparked dating rumors this year!
On January 2, Tana and David separately posted an Instagram Story using a popular filter that “predicts your future.” Both social media stars received the “in love” result. After noticing David’s Story, Tana reposted it with the caption, “Coincidence? I think not.”
Needless to say, people have been shipping the pair ever since! To add fuel to the fire, Tana and Jake Paul have officially called it quits. On top of releasing a joint statement, Tana uploaded a candid video about the nature of her relationship with the controversial personality.
“I’m so unhappy with the way my relationship with Jake looks in the public eye. I’ve done so much pretending that I don’t care what I do … so, it’s my fault, you know?” she admitted.
“We have this project we now have to work on … and I don’t ever want to be on bad terms. I don’t ever want to not be friends. There will always be a part of me that will open my heart to him,” Tana added. “I wish every day him and I could get back to the way we were because it was magic.”
No tea, no shade, but we think David is exactly the kind of guy Tana should be with! Here’s hoping they drop some more clues about their potential romance soon.
