Water under the bridge? Taylor Swift admitted that she regrets calling out Joe Jonas during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back when she was 18. The singer came clean during an interview on the talk show that aired Wednesday, May 15, and acknowledged that it wasn’t the coolest way to react to heartbreak.

During the game “Burning Questions,” show host Ellen DeGeneres asked the 29-year-old what was the most “rebellious thing” she did as a teen and her answer was surprisingly candid. “Probably when I like put Joe Jonas on blast on your show,” the “ME!” songstress confessed. “That was too much, that was too much. I was 18, yeah.”

The pop stars had a brief fling in 2008. Joe, 29, famously ended things over the phone which caused Taylor to write “Forever and Always” and add it to her album Fearless. Ouch!

Luckily, there are no hard feelings between the pair. The blonde beauty added, “We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy, yeah, some teenage stuff there.”

The previous interview that the “Shake It Off” artist was referring to happened in November 2008. “There’s one [song] that’s about that guy, but that guy’s not in my life anymore, unfortunately … That’s ouch,” a very young Taylor said at the time when Ellen showed her a photo of the hunky Jonas Brother.

After joking that it was hard to avoid her very famous ex because “he’s on pencil sharpeners and T-shirts … there’s also a doll,” the Pennsylvania native seemed very hopeful for her future. “We haven’t talked since, but you know what, someday I’m gonna find someone really, really great who’s right for me,” she promised.

Later in the interview, she spilled even more tea about their awkward breakup. The “Fifteen” singer divulged, “When I find that person — and he’ll be wonderful — When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.”
