Taylor technically never dated Drew. However, he was her high school crush. She also wrote the song “Teardrops On My Guitar” about him in 2006.

Joe Jonas

Joe was Taylor’s first famous boyfriend, and he left a big scar on her heart. They were together from July until October 2008, when he dumped her over the phone! Now, he’s married to former Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner. In August 2020, the pair welcomed their first child, a daughter named Willa.  Taylor and Joe are now on friendly terms, as following her November 13, 2021, appearance as Saturday Night Live‘s musical guest, he and Sophie attended the show’s afterparty at NYC hotspot L’Avenue to celebrate Taylor’s incredible performances.

Lucas Till

Taylor and Lucas hit it off while filming the “You Belong With Me” video in 2009 but only hung out from March until April. Lucas went on to star in the new X-Men movies as Havoc, and also played MacGyver on TV.

Taylor Lautner

Taylor squared, if you will, hit it off in 2009 after working on the 2010 film Valentine’s Day together. She even referenced his “sweet smile” and “tan skin” in “Back To December.” He moved on with actress Billie Lourd for a while until they split in 2017.

John Mayer

John earned himself one of the most bitter songs ever, “Dear John,” after their tryst from December 2009 until February 2010. After their relationship, he dated Taylor’s on-again, off-again enemy Katy Perry, and is now single.

Cory Monteith

Taylor and Cory never confirmed a relationship, though they both blushed like crazy when they were asked about it. Fans think “Mine” was about Cory after their short romance in April 2010. Sadly, he died from a drug overdose in 2013.

Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake and Taylor were super public about their relationship. They kissed, cuddled, held hands and went everywhere together from October through early December 2010. * Jake was long rumored to be the subject of Taylor’s 2012 breakup ballad, “All Too Well.” The singer hinted in the lyrics that she left her scarf behind while joining Jake at his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Brooklyn home for Thanksgiving dinner in 2010, with the lyrics: “And I left my scarf there at your sister’s house. And you’ve still got it in your drawer even now.”

In an updated 10-minute version of the song included on Red (Taylor’s Version) released in November 2021, Taylor seemed to indicate Jake, then 30, broke up with the then-nearly 21-year-old over their age difference. In the new lyrics she sings, “You said if we had been closer in age maybe it would have been fine / And that made me want to die.”

Taylor also seemed to hint that Jake broke up with her just prior to her December 13, 2010, birthday. “You, who charmed my dad with self-effacing jokes / Sipping coffee like you were on a late-night show / But then he watched me watch the front door all night, willing you to come / And he said, ‘It’s supposed to be fun … turning 21.'” As of 2021, 41-year-old Jake has been dating 25-year-old model Jeanne Cadieu since 2018. Age doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore

Eddie Redmayne

This is another unconfirmed relationship, but reports claimed they briefly dated from October 2011 to February 2012. Later, Eddie won Oscar for Best Actor in The Theory of Everything, and actually got married to celebrity publicist Hannah Bagshawe in 2014. 

Zac Efron

Taylor and Zac worked on The Lorax together, and fans speculated that they were dating in February and March of 2012. However, they both denied it.

Conor Kennedy

Conor and Taylor were smitten with each other from July to October of 2012. They even had hot yacht makeout sessions! 

Harry Styles

Harry and Taylor allegedly only dated for a few months from December 2012 until January 2013, but clearly he left a mark on her heart. Three (maybe four?) of her songs seem to be about him, and they’re all super romantic, from “I Knew You Were Trouble” to “Red” to “Style,” obviously. Harry even wrote a song about Tay called “Two Ghosts” after he went solo and left One Direction.

Calvin Harris

Calvin will probably always be our fave boyfriend of Tay’s. He was sweet, low-key and actually her longest romance at the time, lasting over a year from February 2015 until June 2016. They even secretly wrote “This Is What You Came For” together.

Tom Hiddleston

Taylor and Tom were hot and heavy from June until September of 2016. Fans were shocked because it was so soon after her split from Calvin, but they quickly got on board. These two were inseparable — and even started dressing alike — until it all came to an end. They still seem to have mutual respect for one another.

Taylor and the U.K. native dated for six years before quietly splitting in 2023.

Matty Healy

Although neither ever commented on the nature of their relationship, Taylor was connected to The 1975’s frontman Matty Healy in the spring of 2023. He was spotted taking photos of the songstress during her Nashville concert on May 5. In the weeks that followed, the pair were spotted exiting a recording studio together, as well as dining on a rooftop in New York.

The romance was short lived, as the pair called it quits after one month of dating, Life & Style confirmed at the time.

“Taylor and Matt are no longer romantically involved,” a source told Us Weekly. “They had fun together, but it was never serious.”

In April 2024, Taylor released her album The Tortured Poets Department, with a majority of the songs speculated to be about her brief relationship with Matty.

Travis Kelce

In July 2023, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce revealed on his podcast that he tried to give Taylor his number at one of her shows, joking that he “took it personal” when she didn’t stop to talk to fans after performing. However, it seems Travis caught Taylor’s eye anyway. The two sparked dating rumors that September when a source told Page Six they had been “quietly hanging out.” Another source told Entertainment Tonight that they aren’t officially dating, although eagle-eyed fans later noticed Taylor wearing a necklace with Travis’ birthstone seemingly on it.

When the Chiefs took on the Chicago Bears on September 24, Taylor was in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium seated alongside Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, as she cheered on her rumored beau. The pair was later spotted leaving the stadium together in his vintage convertible, per social media footage.

In December 2023, Taylor confirmed that she and Travis “started hanging out right after” he gave her the shout-out on his podcast. She was in attendance at several Chiefs games during the 2023 football season, including the Super Bowl in February 2024. The A-lister celebrated with Travis on the field after he and his teammates won the big game.

Meanwhile, Travis showed up to several international Eras tour shows amid the relationship. The couple also vacationed in the Bahamas and Lake Como, Italy, in 2024.
