Taylor Swift Spotted Out With BFF Ashley Avignone in NYC the Night Before Travis’ Playoff Game
Back in a New York groove! Taylor Swift was spotted spending time with close friend Ashley Avignone and her parents the night before her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is set to play in his first playoff game.
The “Paper Rings” singer, 35, wore a black mini skirt and jacket from AREA that she paired with black tights and Chloe over-the-knee boots during the outing on Friday, January 17. She accessorized the look with a small Jimmy Choo handbag and Chanel earrings and she wore her blonde hair down around her shoulders. Ashley, 40, was seen wearing white pants and a long black and brown leather coat.
Taylor’s mom, Andrea Swift, looked cozy in a long black coat and gray scarf wrapped around her neck, while her dad, Scott Swift, donned a navy blazer with khaki pants and light blue and white striped button-down in images shared by People.

The Miss Americana star’s night out on the town came just one day prior to the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium. However, Travis, 35, had previously confirmed that Taylor would be in the stands cheering him on.
The Super Bowl champ made an appearance during the January 13 episode of The Pat McAfee Show. Host Pat McAfee asked if “the aura” in Arrowhead Stadium was going to be “a little bit extra,” hinting at whether or not Taylor was going to be in attendance.
“Oh yeah, you know it, baby. It’s playoff football, man,” Travis said as he broke into a grin.

Pat, 37, also joked about how live bettors bet on the Chiefs to win when they see Taylor walk into the stadium.
“Hey, is she undefeated?” Pat explained. “She rolls into that stadium, I just want to let you know what live bettors do. They see her walk into that stadium and immediately open the phone, like, ‘Yup, Chiefs are about to win.’ That is just literally the feel.”
Travis and Taylor’s romance has been quite the boon for the NFL, and the Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt recently spoke about how their relationship has boosted numbers for the Kansas City team.
“She is absolutely incredible, as the whole world knows, and it’s been such a special time to have her be a part of Chiefs Kingdom,” Gracie said during an interview with People on January 16. “She is just as beautiful and wonderful as you’d ever imagine her to be, so smart and intelligent.”

Gracie, 25, went on to say that having Taylor present to “cheer on the Chiefs” for the past two seasons has felt a “little bit surreal” at times, but the “I Can Do It With the Broken Heart” artist has grown the fanbase “between 30 and 40 percent from her attendance.”
Taylor showed up at her first Chiefs game in September 2023 as she and Travis officially went public with their relationship. She’s been a staple at many of the “New Heights” podcast host’s games ever since, but Travis openly supports his lady, as well. The Grotesquerie star was often seen attending various performances all over the world during Taylor’s Eras tour.
