Taylor Swift Thanks Brittany Mahomes for Keeping Her ‘Calm’ During Chiefs Playoff Games

Taylor Swift thanked friend and fellow WAG Brittany Mahomes for keeping her “calm” during the Kansas City Chief’ playoff games, including their latest match against the Buffalo Bills.

After the Chiefs beat the Bills on Sunday, January 26, Taylor, 35, and Brittany, 29, made their way onto the field at Arrowhead Stadium to celebrate with their partners. The “Enchanted” singer has been dating tight end Travis Kelce since the summer of 2023, and Brittany married quarterback Patrick Mahomes in 2022.

“There’s your man!” Brittany told Taylor as she pointed to Travis, 35, while he was onstage with Patrick, 29, according to a video shared by fan account @tayvishaze on X.

The women then hugged as Taylor got sentimental about her friendship with Brittany. “You kept me so calm the last couple of weeks,” she gushed.

“I did not know what to do,” the “Blank Space” singer continued as they watched Travis and Patrick accept the Lamar Hunt trophy alongside the Ohio native’s mother, Donna Kelce. “I was like, ‘Tell me it’s going to be OK.’”

Brittany sighed as she said, “What a game,” and Taylor added, “My heart was in my throat.”

While Brittany helped Taylor stay calm during the close game, she admitted that she was just as stressed before the game ended with a 32-29 score. “I was literally up there pumping, stressing,” the mother of three said.

Taylor jokingly added that she felt like she had to get “out” of Arrowhead Stadium due to how “crazy” the game had gotten. However, she remained in the suite the entire game.

After Taylor and Brittany shared the sweet moment, the “You’re Losing Me” singer reunited with Travis on the field. The couple packed on the PDA to celebrate the win before they left the field together and headed towards the Chiefs’ locker room.

Taylor has been openly supportive of Travis’ NFL career, and she has attended many of his games that did not conflict with her Eras tour schedule.

While the pair have kept many details of their relationship out of the spotlight, Travis previously revealed how Taylor feels about him potentially retiring from the NFL.

“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” he said about his girlfriend while appearing on the Stephen A. Smith Show on January 15. “She loves coming to Arrowhead [Stadium] and coming to the games and cheering for me so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”

Travis then shared that being part of a healthy and stable relationship has made him a better player. “That’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft,” he explained. “Focus on being the best version of you.”

After noting that he’s “as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player I can possibly be,” he said that he doesn’t “have to worry about things off the field” thanks to his dynamic with Taylor.
