Tess Holliday Brings the House Down in a ‘Sample Size’ Dress for Chromat at NYFW
We see you, Tess Holliday! The 34-year-old model absolutely dominated the runway at the Chromat show during New York Fashion Week on Sunday, September 8. Taking to Instagram a day later, Tess expressed her gratitude with fans.
“What can I even say?!! I’m finally part of the [Chromat] family!!” the curvy bombshell began. “Last night was my first time walking for a major designer in NYFW and I can’t think of anyone better to experience this with than [Chromat]. Thank you, Becca McCharen-Tran, you’re the industry one runway at a time.”
Unsurprisingly, Tess’ friends, followers and fellow A-listers flooded her post with some very well deserved praise. “Slay” Paris Hilton commented, along with a flame emoji. “You better work. Proud of you, sis!” added a fan.
“OMFG, YES. I’M SCREAMING,” a third person wrote, while a fourth echoed, “Actual tears running down my face seeing a body that represents me on a catwalk. This is MAJOR. I feel included. I feel desirable. Thank you.”
Of course, this is hardly the first time that Tess has inspired her followers. In fact, the proud mother of two recently opened up on social media about her struggles with depression.
On August 2, Tess announced that she would be taking a break from the internet. “Social media is a great tool for connecting with others [and] blah blah blah … but it’s not good for me right now,” she wrote at the time. “So for y’all asking, no, I’m not OK, but I’m making steps towards being OK.”
On August 11, Tess popped back in to share an update after appearing at Beautycon L.A. “[Baby’s] first big event since my lil’ depression episode and honestly, this is the best I’ve felt in a long time,” she began. “I’m not sayin’ I’m better, because I’m [100 percent] not, but damn … I look good and it was so nice meeting so many fans and getting so many hugs.”
Here’s hoping Tess continues to move onward and upward! We appreciate your honesty, girl.
