And the 2017 winner of The Bachelorette is…

It’s official — Bryan Abasolo is Rach’s leading guy! The 32-year-old Dallas native fell pretty hard for the Miami-based chiropractor when he stepped out of the limo on the first night and spoke to her in Spanish. “When he got out of the limo and spoke to me in Spanish, I was already smitten,” Rachel said in her confessional.

He was the first person to kiss Rachel.

The 37-year-old took Rach aside and told her exactly what he was here for. He was super flirty with Rach from the start, which is why she felt that he could definitely be “trouble” But he told her that he didn’t want to waste her time and that he was looking for somebody serious, and he proved it by going in for a super passionate kiss.

Bryan got Rach’s first impression rose.

Right before the first rose ceremony, the Bachelorette is allowed to give away one “first impression rose” to the contestant who she felt made a lasting impression on her, and Rachel definitely felt that Bryan deserved her rose. “From the moment you walked out of the limo, I felt something that was unexplainable,” she told him.

But Rach did question Bryan’s intentions.

Bryan’s smooth charm and charismatic ways can sometimes come across as too disingenuine, and that was definitely something that Rach’s family brought up with her when she brought him home for their hometown date but she definitely understood why they would feel that way.

“I questioned him a lot so I understood why they did that at first,” she told People at the Men Tell All taping. “But at the same time, you see my frustration because I felt like they weren’t as open-minded as they were with the other two men. I got defensive. There are some things you didn’t see play out.”

But we guess they were able to work everything out, because now Rachel is engaged to Bryan — congrats to the happy couple!
